  • It all depends on your schedule and goal. For the full-time student, we recommend 3 to 5 times a week. Have a job and responsibilities? Don’t worry, we have the schedule that can work for you.

  • Magnolia is a Part 61 Flight school. What does this mean? Simply put, it allows us to customize and cater more towards the students experiences and learning abilities to provide a more effective learning experience. While not required, Magnolia does use a structured syllabus and other technology to enhance the abilities of the pilot to became safe knowledgeable, aeronautical decision makers for the industry ahead.

  • Yes, currently Magnolia is requiring all students to get and provide proof of renters insurance. This decision has been made to protect you the pilot should any incident or accident occur.   • Before you begin your first flight, one of our experienced instructors will meet with you to prepare you for the training ahead. This will include obtaining a Student Pilot Certificate, getting you connected with an Examiner for your medical certificate, and getting your schedule prepared.   • Materials needed can vary based on the certificate being worked on. Students will need to obtain a headset and one of our pilot kits which contains many of the tools needed before lesson 1. Other options such as tablet devices and subscription services can be discussed with your instructor.
